In the meantime, I'm running LS on the 25th this month.

I will also be at the BW Corvette challenge Dan. What class do you plan on running in? Some of those LA guys on the Corvette forum really think they are the best at what they do. Lets show em how its done! I am about to get the car tuned with the new Kooks LT headers I have as soon as I can get them on.

Based on their points system I'll be in Modified -- barely. Very good chance we're in the same class.

So, you're adding power? Don't make me turn off my AC to run with you.

You keep your AC on Dan. Your suspension mods will make up for the power difference!

    Default Event Cancelled

The March 22nd BW date has been cancelled:

    Dear Drivers,

A lot of you have asked us why we haven't opened our Buttonwillow events yet, and why we have so few days at Thunderhill compared to prior years. Here is an update.

Thunderhill: Due to a serious business dispute that we have with the track, Thunderhill has cancelled all our events. We have retained the services of an attorney and a complaint will be filed against the track in the next few days. Once the lawsuit is filed we will be able to give you a lot more information.

Buttonwillow: The March 22 event is cancelled, for now we are only opening the two weekends. We will be able to give you more information regarding the single-day events very soon.

They did open registration for the June 5th & 6th weekend at BW. Events in April and May at BW may also be held.

I hope NCRC isn't getting squeezed out by pressure to raise their prices. I'm really curious now what is going on.

It's not just the price that I like about them. Being able to pre-tech my own car instead of a shop, no boring download meetings, more driving sessions, longer driving sessions, no shared rungroups (like HPDE1 & 2 together), less trains and just more relaxed atmosphere all around.

I'd be willing to pay some more for their format.

And with tracks closing down, like Reno-Fernley, you'd think T-Hill would appreciate as many booked dates as they could get. Gotta be some juicy story behind it.
