    Default Tool Garage Sale

    Steve’s Tool Sale

Come to Steve’s tool sale prior to the SCCA awards banquet on Saturday 1/21/17 from 3:30 to 5:30 (open to SCCA members only – prices will go up for the public) – almost everything in the shop will be sold. This will include some high quality hand tools (Ryobi – Dewalt - Milwaukee – Craftsman) and some junk (Harbor Freight). Some are new, some used. All will be priced accordingly. I’ll print out some price sheets from Home Depot, Costco, Harbor Freight, etc so you can compare prices.

    Some examples:
Air tank with hose - $10
Battery chargers/tenders (Die Hard, Schumacher, Battery Tender) – most are new (in the box) and will be priced from $20 to $30
120 amp flux core wire welder from Harbor Freight – dented but new - $70.
Ryobi – hand drill $30 (big two handle drill)
    Ryobi – detail sander $20
Ryobi –18 V. cordless tool set with bag, charger and two batteries (drill, 6”circular saw, recip. saw, flashlight) $90
    Milwaukee (assorted elect. tools)
Harbor Freight 6” Bench Grinder - $20 (2 or 3 for sale – not sure on the brands)
Drill Press (multi-speed, bench top) - Harbor Freight 15 inch (new) - $75
    Cut off saw (14 inch – 2 hp) - $40
Dewalt reciprocating saw - $30 (I have more – can’t remember the brands)
Engine stand – home made (not heavy enough for a V8) - $20
Muscle Rack steel storage racks - $40 to $80 (depending on size and shelving type – metal vs. wood – I have about 8 of these)
Steel 5’ x 4’?? workbench top (very heavy) - $50 Never got around to building the workbench under it.
Two post car lift $1,500 obo
(if nobody in the club wants it – it goes on Craigslist for $1,800)
Craftsman air compressor (2 hp? with 26 gallon tank on wheels) – almost new $180

This is just a sample – lots of other stuff will be up for sale.
(ie. Man Cave Neon Beer Signs – electric Yokohama Tire sign)

Starts at 3:30 – ends at 5:30 in time to get to the SCCA awards banquet.

I need to come to at least check out that Yoko sign. Any idea how much you will be letting it go for?

Just went out to the garage to check. It still lights up - is 4 ft by 14 inches - has a black background and white lettering.

    How about $60?

Did not see it on your list but is there maybe a cordless 3/8" electric drill available?

    Hey Ron,

Yes - but it's part of the cordless kit of tools. It's a bag of Ryobi tools with a charger and battery that can be used in any of the tools.

Sorry but I can't separate them, they will all need to be sold together.

Thanks anyway, Steve. I'll pass. Those others are too much like work.

    Hi Steve,

Is the 2 hp 14 inch cut-off saw a harbor freight model with the abrasive cutting disc?

I don't think it's from Harbor Freight - but I'm not sure. Update! It IS from Harbor Freight! But it still works well.

It works pretty dam well though.

I'm interested in the lift. Do you know which model it is?
