    Default Meeting location

In an effort to get more people coming out to meetings, we're considering changing the meeting location (currently its at Yosemite Falls Cafe on Ashlan by the 99), and if there's enough demand, maybe even the date/time. New options we're currently considering include MB2 Raceway in the Sierra Vista Mall and the Yosemite Falls Cafe in Clovis (very close to MB2). If anyone has any other suggestions, please post them up! We're interested to hear your feedback

    Default Ugh!

How about, even numbered months, Clovis, and odd numbered months, Madera.

Which is exactly why I made the arrangements a few years ago for Yosemite Falls at Ashlan & 99; just off the freeway and easy for out-of-towners to get to. Even though I live in Clovis, and it takes me 20 minutes to get there. I don't think that's a problem. Don't forget, people, we have people from the north - Turlock & Atwater - and south - Hanford & Lemoore - who frequently come to the meetings.

At any rate, new meeting place, if any, must have food and beer.

While Yosemite Falls Cafe on Ashlan was easy to get to from most parts of the valley, we have struggled to get more members to consistently attend our monthly meetings. Right now, we want to see where/when people would actually like to meet; so far on the Facebook post, we've had a few people say that Monday doesn't work for them and others have stated they would attend if the meetings were moved to a different location.

Though moving away from Yosemite Falls Cafe would make for a little longer drive for out-of-towners, we need to start getting more people involved with club business and start training more people to help with things such as timing. Like Ron said at the meeting, we could use more new blood, and in my opinion, we can't keep relying on the same people over and over and not expect them to get burnt out in the near future.

Very good plan, Jimmy. You are forging ahead and trying to think out of the box. CHARGE!
