I wasn't around in the 80s but I don't think much has change - and everything has changed. I know since I started in 98 there have been a lot of changes. Yes there are mostly stock style cars. Yes there are modifieds. Yes there are cars running slicks. so you see that much hasn't changed.
What has changed is the way things are done. It used to be very casual, relaxed, what rules ther were were mostly ignored. Not any more. Now everything is by the book. I't not a bad thing - it keeps everyhting on the up-and-up.
Adios

Can it be that the Shockley Shocker is still around!!!! How the heck have you
been? Like Ron has said some things stay the same yet change is all around us. This year will be a challenge as workable sites could become scarce. Our club board is working very hard to find these sites so that we can get our calendar in place. The majority of the cars are street prepped cars that have mostly bolt-on performance items and still street driven. We have a few prepared cars and Gerald Storvik and I have been driving a A-Mod car. Once we have our calendar more firm I hope you make it out to some of our events. Keep checking this site for updates. Take care and hope to see you soon.:)
