For the drift school event, Feb. 27. I will be out of town and Josh will be a participant. So, we need a [licensed SSS to step forward to be Safety Steward for the event. If you have a SSS license, and can be there on Saturday, please let me know by PM or email. Thanks.

This is for Saturday only. I can be there Sunday.

Just an FYI: You don't have to participate on Saturday, just be there. If I wasn't out of town, I'd be there just to stand and watch. Sometimes, watching drifting is more fun than watching autocroos. Especially practice/school.

I have a license, however here is the problem...Connie is enrolled in the driving class on Sunday. I've been having PROBLEMS with Ekler's over parts for the Porsche. I ordered them a month ago and yesterday parts arrived! I opened the box and there were two vaccum pumps for an MG. All I ordered was a set of turn signal lenses. I called Eklers and have gotten nothing but a run around. The parts they sent cost $800.00, the parts I ordered....$74.00. If can get Ekler's to get their act together then it shouldn't be a problem being a safety steward on Sat. Right now it doesn't look good.

Josh,

Am I correct to assume that I am not a safety steward if I don't have my card, even if it's sign off and I'll be sending it tomorrow?

Josh,

But, since you've received all the official training, and getting the card is just a technicality, and since this is just proctice, not competition, we might be able to make an exception. Right Josh?

I'll do it. The Porsche won't be ready for Sunday. So on the first event in March, I'll ask that you guys give Connie alittle help, since that will be her first race. Connie and I will be there Sat. So let the good times roll!:p

I live in Sacramento, too far for no driving.

Definitely! I feel that way about Turlock, too. It gets real expensive.
