I checked the drift school (1/28) and noticed it is filling HALF as fast as the autocross school. I was wondering if experienced drifters are you not coming because it is a school? What if we offered a non-instructor practice only group? Basically you are on your own without an instructor so you can just practice.
Bee, what do you think as you are the Event Chair?
Brandon, how hard will it be for you to add a check box to make instruction optional?

Josh that is very clever idea. That will bring me out. At the moment, I changing my Pressure+Nismo light flywheel, some toe and traction rod, Hicas rack and get alignment(may be roll cage). Then I'm in business.

This is now a question on the registration form. I have no way of having the previous six registrants answer this question except to email them. I'm going to assume they all want instruction.

more speed! more speed! J/K
you might b right because the one you did last yr from the drivers i spoke to from then to now said "i kinda wanted to get a little more practice on my switch backs" like i said before i have layouts from Ebisu track how they practice that i got from a worker there. they focus more on switch backs for begginers and i think it will help greatfully and can attract drivers more because of what it offers. this is my opinion based on what drivers said from last drift practce event. do a figure 8 like last time (the bigger one that we set up) and a track layout for switch backs, what u think Bee?

i just wrote a really long reply, going back and forth to check my info and when i hit send it did not go through, im not gonna rewrite it again at this moment because i am pissed but i will say is this, i have been thinking about this event for a very, very, very, very long time and your suggestions have already crossed my mind and ive taken everything into account and have already implemented ideas for all of them. and D, you have on numerous occasions said in emails and whatnot about track layouts but you have never once told me any of them and at this point ive already have 7 of the 8 mini courses set and even the large course for fun runs, so thank u but im good. the only other thing ive yet to solidify is a judging/scoring system and at this point its a 50/50 of me scrapping the idea.

Bee, you're under no obligation to take anyone's advice or input. You are the event chair and in charge of the day's activities.

The question on the registration form will simply print out on the registration cards. What you do with this info will be up to you.

One thing to keep in mind is that even if you have everything planned precisely, you need to remain flexible. At the end of the day, it's not about how satisfied you are, it's about how satisfied your paying students are. :D

understood.
on the judging post is it so others interested in the "points"? for the judge events what they need to do to get "points'? my opinion is mainly judge on smooth clipping points since its a slower drift pace event.
