The October minutes mention event dates proposed and to be posted online for discussion. They aren't listed in the minutes. Did I miss them somewhere? Brandon mentioned that there was something at the Fairgrounds starting out the year.

Talked to Brandon, the incoming Prez, about this and his priority is to get these dates set asap so as not to relive the problems of the 09 season.

Maybe it is just because I've come from the frozen north, but why no January (or early Feb or Dec) dates?
Take advantage of what you got.
I hope you're not scared of a little water? :D

Its just water. Rain makes you a better driver.

I'd also note that you'll basically be the only people in norcal doing this, which should get you some attendance from further away.

When I came back from Alaska I found the further south you go the more people are affected by the weather. Every one in my family lives around San Diego and has aches, pains, arthritis, and snivels how cold it is at 70F.

The dates that Pam posted are what have been submitted to the Fresno Fairgrounds. I left a voicemail with them today to confirm that there are no conflicts on their end.

The schedule will be posted as soon as it is concrete. Even if we don't post it until March, we will be ahead of where we were this year

Winter just means you have to wait for the lakes to freeze for ice racing!
Picking cones in -20F weather is "fun," you make the person who hit the cone pick it.

Let me suggest that the club REALLY tries for mid January (monthly meeting at the latest) for confirmed dates as that is when SFR, AAS, Sac., UFO and others start running their seasons. The sooner we have firm dates we can get on SFR's calendar and racers can start choosing where they will run and in what series. Once committed, very few will change as we've seen this past year especially if they're in a points battle.

I highly recommend a couple of our members attend the December SFR meeting in case there is an opportunity they discuss their calendar. The date is listed in the agenda.

That just makes it more interesting. Can you avoid hitting cones you can't see?
