Folks,

I didn't realize til yesterday (Event #9) that I had lost my Longacre tire pressure gauge at Event #8. A couple of people stated that one "extra" had been found and placed in the trailer. I asked and poked around a bit but didn't find anything.

So, if anyone has any info, please PM me or point me in the right direction.

Much obliged!
:)

Hi Don,
I have your Tire pressure gauge.(Longacre digital). I will put it in the shelf of the side trailer door. You can pick it up at event #10. If you need it sooner, I can send it to you.

I would like to thank all those who helped load the trailer last Sunday evening. It really looks great.

Good luck with getting your tire gauge out of storage Don:p

OK, so this triggered some deeply buried feelings of guilt as a "cone slayer" which then led me to lookup how many cones I actually killed during all of 2008 through today -- but only with Fresno SCCA.

2008 -- a total of 17.
2009 -- 9 so far (with 6 of those coming in event 7 -- Ron's event, curiously).

So, if it comes to it I volunteer to contribute one dollar per cone hit to help toward replacement. While this may bankrupt some, it needs to remain voluntary. :D

--DanIt was a joke, Dan. Give me cones, not drugs!:D:D I prefer waffle cones with Rocky Road in them.

Dan spurred some curiosity in my own cone counts. So after a little checking, I stumbled across some very disturbing results:

2008: 9 cones for 0.9 cones/event
2009: 28 cones to date for 3.5 cones/event (not including event 9)
2010: ~73 cones for 6.1 cones/event (projected)

Oh the horror!

You are not going in a good direction, Aaron. Counselling may be required.

How much analysis are you guys going to do? What about a cone ratio to run #. Basically see if you hit more cones during a particular run.

Doing a quick look up on my numbers 15 total cone kills for 7 events (2008). Average of 2 cones per event. I also notice I hit the most cones in runs 2, 4, and 5 with runs 1 and 3 being only 1 each for all 7 events in 2008 total.
Very interesting. Got a ways to go to catch up to you Aaron:D

So after a little more digging (and perhaps a wee bit too much time on my hands), I came up with this:

Most alarming is perhaps that the 3 times we've done 6 run events, I've averaged 1 cone a run :o

Next up if I can figure out who all the event chairs where for 2008 would be a break down of cones/event chair.

The index of useless statistics is up 4.5% this month.
