Hey Sanjay you missed the fine print: "Sanjay Singh not allowed to rent the car under any circumstances." :p

Hey D what is going to be the cost to do the drift practice on the 17th? Are they requiring fire suits for the practices?

Gary,
We are talking about the drift events that are put on at the Stockton 99 speedway. It is a small banked oval with an X in the center. I might come check this out as it is the closest drift around here. Plus I want to see tyler drift his 240sx. Maybe I might enter if the price is right and fir suites are not required. Hey D waht was the helmet spec again?

i know, i know. but they tell me that the rear end in these cars are bullet proof! fine print is no good if it doesnt make me faster :) ill take something like "secret turbo" in fine print!

I have to say that this is a bad idea for both parties! The guys I know that rent out their cars do it for $2500 bucks for the day, but if you crash it you get to walk away from it (after being yelled at for the rest of the day about how much of an idiot you are).

Jumping into someone else car that you are not failure with, could cost you a lot of money. How do you know that it doesn't already have mechanical problems??? The motor or tranny could be out the door and now you stuck footing the bill. How do you know that its even safe....for $50 bucks I doubt the guy will even look at the brake pads to ensure that there is enough compound on the INSIDE pad. Yup that's right just looking at the outside pad is not enough.....where is the piston? The inside, and if it drags than the inside pad could be toast and the outside pad could be perfectly fine.

As for the renter....if anything goes wrong, you might as well just walk away from it. You won't get a dime out of anyone nowadays. Money is tight but I suspect that is why the car is for rent.

Lastly, there is no safety equipment....someone gets hurt and you get sued.

Build a real car with all the bells and whistles and rent it to yuppies that are too scared to drive it and make a killing. All you got to do is rent it to is find 10 suckers and your car is paid for. Crashes do happen though and you have to be prepared to be able to walk away from it.

Josh(u missed the evo8 500hp drift car was NIIIICE) but yea
no suit needed for practice
ALMOST every friday next friday its 50bux was 75bux!!:)
next date sept 12th
COMP is oct 17th so u need firesuit:D comp price not sure but if its the same as last time 100bux for comp

and for the drift car ITS TONS OF FUN!!:p
i drove it and if it was a scary car or hard to make it slide i wouldnt post but its NOT really is fun
as far as damage(or blown motor/trans ) he said he will take care of it but a $250 fee or less most was 250 so its not bad
u only crash if u dnt knw how to drift as far as how to start a drift is it AINT no $2500 ouch! 250 or less ;)
example-
u drift NEX to the wall let off the GAS and understeer into it cause u were NEXT to it instead start low ezy right? and it is the wall will be so far away u need to spin out then gas it INTO the wall if u do that i will personally slap u for being a jackass j/k
use common sense thats al
BUT its tons of fun

SO
pay for car rental 50bux
track time 4pm to 8ish 50bux

tires ones installed used go for 40bux
get a helmet and ur good to go!!
THIS IS TO GET PPL OUT THIER AT AN AFFORDABLE WAY
PM me ill give u name and # if interested:D:D
