Josh, I should be available and more than willing to work. The only problem is that I'm still not a SCCA member :( I would think you have to be a member right?
I'll probably go anyways as I have some friends that will be running in the race.
The following weekend I'll be shaking my car down at BW and entering the S2000 Challenge!!!

Driving Ambitions is having a meet and greet at the end of the day on Saturday. Shad is super cool and if your not failure with what hes done in the past just look up CompTech and Driving Ambitions. Ry and Kip will also be at the meet and greet.
Ry drives the #8 ITE S2000 and is last years champ. Kip drives the stupid fast NSX and is well on his way to claiming the title this year. If you get a chance stop by and say hi. These guys are super friendly :)

That was a cool deal. Tony, Daniel, and myself all went over to Laguna and got to work as Course Marshall's assistants. I am still trying to get use to all of the new worker positions. We go to ride in the truck as we were called out for debris on the track from parts of cars to oil on the track. I learned so much about other opportunities offered to those who volunteer and am already starting to look at the calendar to see what other event I could volunteer at.
One thing I will be getting is my Safety Waiver hard card. At the event they could take your photo if you had over one year of membership in SCCA. Now in the next week or so I should no longer have to sign the release waiver Like Mr. Lieb.:D

Josh,
Thanks again for putting this together....I HAD AN AWESOME TIME!!!!!
Riding around in the marshall's truck on the track was AWESOME!!! Damn, I didn't think a Ford Duelly could corner that good and 50+ mph:eek:
and did I mention that they had free beer at the social at the end of the day:D:D
I'm down to do this again

Yeah, doing a blistering 65-70 under the Bosch bridge into turn 5 while riding in the bed of a Ford, crew cab, dually was weirdly cool.:D Standing along the pit wall while the cars went on track at speed was really COOL.
They have another event this year at Thunderhill, but I am going to wait until March of next year and start doing as many events as I can.
Tony I know you liked the beer at the end of the day but don't forget we had a really nice free lunch too.

It was a hell of a time! It was a great experience for me since it was the first time I have ever been to a track. It was cool feeling important going out when needed. I just wish I would have brought my scca card so I could get my plastic card! I didnt take very many pictures but here's some
