I would like to schedule a day we can do some corner balancing before our next event.
Also, I think the club is planing to have a non-points event later this season in Sanger. If this event does happen, I will bring my scales there also.
Let me know if you are interested and we can set a date.

I'm going to be in need of another corner balance after I get the new strut.

Corky, are weekdays or weekends better for you?

Tony,
Corner balancing helps you measure that the static weight corner to corner is within tolerance. Basically you are setting the cars weight balance the same for a left turn as a right turn.
You really need adjustable coilovers or ride height adjustability to tune your corner balance.

Do you have any way of aligning the cars after they've been corner weighted?

I do my own alignments and could provide tools and help to anyone during the corner-weighting session.

Hi everyone,
It looks like we will be balancing on Saturday, August 22nd starting at 9 o'clock and going until they are all done. We don't have an alignment rack, but we can check toe and camber. If this date doesn't work for you, let me know and we can get together when it does suit you. I am back on contract, so there will be no way we can balance on week days unless it's in the evening. If you have a stock suspension, (not coil-over or jack screws) we can still balance, but we will have to make shims to put under the coils. We can talk some more about this at the monthly meeting.

I have a couple of high school students I am going to invite to come and help out.

I'm racing that weekend but don't hold up getting together on my behalf. But, I won't be able to help with alignments.

I was kinda wanting to get together with you and do some planning for the 30th. Is there another time we can get together? I could come to Turlock.

My son's B-day party is going to be on that day and the wife's been planning for a month now. How long would it take to balance? I might have to miss out again. You also mentioned weeknights... would it be possible to come by one of those weeknights you're there? Thanks

Go to your birthday party. We can scale your car on a evening (not Tuesday) or at the Sanger event. I understand there will be a portable dyno there too.

We will be corner balancing at the Auto Center on the former Castle Air Base. Thad, we can do some string alignment and I will have my toe gauge there as well.

Wow this is an incredibly generous offer! Unfortunately I wont be able to take advantage of the opportunity but still I'd like to thank you for the offer!

This is my definition of grassroots generosity.

Working on it. I'm waiting for some more parts to come in but I'm scheduling the appointment with Blacktrax and TC Design for next week. Sounds like I should definitely be ready to go by Sept!

I'm trying a new suspension set up (same dampers but new sways and springs). So its back to square one with suspension testing....

Hi everyone,
I am going to have to postpone our corner balancing date for this Saturday. My sister who lives in Nevada, has been battling Leukemia for almost two years and has been hanging in there pretty well. The last few weeks have seen a real turn for the worse. Her Dr. is telling us that she doesn't have much time left and if we want to see her, we had better go now. We will be leaving tomorrow and will be back Saturday evening. Please help me contact all of those planning to come who don't visit the forum often. I promise to set up another date as soon as possible. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Sad to hear about your Sister, but I am sure we all understand that Family comes first.
Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Sorry to hear Corky, and I wish her the best.

Thankfully I checked in, as I wasn't even really ready for one yet.

Until next time.....................
