2009 Schedule

I see that San Francisco and Sacramento have their 2009 schedules posted. How close are we to posting a schedule? Are we using the same lot as we did in 2008?

We discussed the schedule at the general meeting last night. Look for it in the meeting minutes to be posted soon.

Also, the Fresno chapter will be running more events at the Fresno faigrounds this year, as well as the pad from last year.

The board's goal is to get the original Winton ramp back by the end of the year.

It's the NW corner of the Old Castle Air Base where they use to park B-52 and was our old site for Solo 2 until 2008.

I'm excited to hear there may be more fairgorunds events, not that the parking lot there is super great, but it would be cool to put that gas money toward membership, or tires or...

Ok, sorry if this is a dumb question.I have been out of the area since 2007 since I moved from Midpines to Modesto.

Are we still doing SOLO 2 racing in Atwater at the Castle Base? If so, when is the first event?

Mike we are still running at Castle, but no longer the winton ramp. It got closed to everything. We run on a beat up parking lot.

Check the events portion of this forum. Our first event is a school on 2/28, autocross on 3/1, both at the Fresno Fairgrounds. After that, as far as I know, no dates nor sites nor event chairs have been confirmed.
