Hey everyone, my name is John. I've been coming (as a spectator) to the autocross events for a bit over a year now. I have yet to compete because my car has been down. I plan on running as soon as I get it up and running, which should be very soon. I've been working on replacing the head gasket and it's just been one problem after another. It's a stock 89 Toyota MR2 supercharged. Every time I'm out spectating I'm typically taking photos. I took the photos that Kurt (2159ClassicRed) posted of the last test and tune at the fresno fairgrounds. Anyways, I look forward to meeting and learning from you guys!

Hey John,

Nice to hear about a new competitor that is going to be competing at the events. Make sure to checkout the Novice/Rookie Championship. Also when registering make sure to get Novice put on your card. If you have any questions at the event ask myself, Cliff or the Novice Chief Eric Gillis. Hope to see you at the Fairgrounds.

No, not yet. :( I totally suck at diagnosing and Chris hasn't been able to come over and help me.

Well when it comes to diagnosing engine trouble, I find that Sherlock Holmes said it best, "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Very very true. The only problem is that I haven't been able to eliminate much of anything as impossible.

BTW, it's sad I know, but I don't remember that quote from the book or anything, but the old cartoon Sherlock Holmes in the 23rd century or whatever it was called. :p
