No in my opinion the focus is the economy hatch that is helping them survive.
I would love to see this Focus here is the US. I might even consider buying a Ford and even a front wheel drive if this car was here in the US.

We ARE expected to get the international Focus sometime this year or next. It's a major component of Ford's small car strategy. Personally, I'm a bit excited about the Fiesta with the EcoBoost engine :) If it ends up in H stock, I think it will be good competition to the MINI.

That is probably the only car that would give me goosebumps that is FWD and boosted (sorry Brandon).

No offense taken, good thing my mission in life isn't to 'give you goosebumps' haha

That new RS is insane.

And I don't believe Ford will be releasing the fiesta with the ecoboost engine. At least right away. I don't think it will be able to compete with the mini. The focus has trophied at nationals in HS, but the fiesta is taller, narrower, has less power, and has nearly the weight.

yeah, I've been waiting for them to bring the C1 chassis for years, every year, its "probably going to come next year".
if they made an awd cosworth version of the new RS I would take it over an evo or sti in a heartbeat

I read an interesting article I read, but I believe the car was originally envisioned and built AWD, but the 280hp AWD test mule was "dissappointing" so they redesigned the front suspension to reduce monstrous inevitable torque steer, and cut 150kg of weight in the form of AWD.

I heard something to that extent to.
