I thought I heard a rumor that a small carrier is going to be flying out of Atwater, but I could not find anything online. If I do find anything I will post it here.

This is not late breaking news. This happened over a year ago. There used to be two schools on the former base and one of them is still alive and well. The one referred to here was run by an Indian family and was teaching mostly Indian nationals to fly. Most all the students paid up front and lost everything when the school went under.

Cliff,
That is were I saw it too, but I can not remember which channel. I am afraid this might mean they will cut us off from the small lot since it is their parking lot area for the terminal. I wonder if anyone has knock down the cobwebs on the portables so that they can be used.
Dan,
28-30 Memorial Day – Giant plane Fly-in – Castle AFB – near Merced
Anybody else interested in going to document the event to write an article into the newspaper and then to Merced county. As long as that site is still there it then is still available in my opinion. I know others of you think otherwise, but never give up especially now that we have Lemoore NAS as proof that we can pass the security requirements.
