A note to all people who plan to attend the April 4th and 26th event dates. These event dates are canceled until further notice. The site at Castle switched from Castle Commerce a private company to being run by Merced County. When Merced County first took it over we were going to deal with our previous contact Scott Malta the Airport Manager. It took two weeks to setup a conference that was requested by Scott Malta to talk to all of the race groups about some issues that were brought to his attention. A couple days after the conference call with Scott Malta he said that he was no longer in charge and we were now under the Castle Commerce but it would now be run by Merced County. For some reason new paper work is being required to be drafted for use of the facility which requires signatures of several people which is taking time and making us cancel dates. I will keep everyone up to date on any changes as soon as the information comes available. I have been told by the people in Merced County the May 24th date should be far enough out to get all of the paper work completed.
