I have seen the car there too. The yellow fog lights give it away. :D
We might have someone in the club willing to do corner balancing. I will see if we can get a date scheduled so a group can go for the day.

I've also recall a BIG Tundra parked in Q as well, with it's left rear tire on the curb:D

We can check the balance of your car and or any other club member who wants make a trip to the Atwater Castle Auto Training Center and willing to make a $25 donation to my ROP Auto Racing Program.
The donation will be used to help fund a student autocross car.
If there is enough interest we can have a morning set aside to do several cars.

Just let me know when you guys want to do this. I've got the suspension about where I want it for height. It's time to balance it as soon as I get the lower rear bushings changed. Mazda sent me the wrong sleeve for one of the lower rears and they're like molasses doing anything about it. Maybe this week:(
Anyone know a good machinist that wouldn't charge a lot to turn the ID of the sleeve about 3mm larger?

If any of you would like to put your car on the scale, I will be able to help you on April 4th for a small donation. If your suspension is adjustable(coil-overs etc.), bring your wrenches. I will be at the Auto Center at Castle before 8AM and we will work until the last car is done. Our school racing budget does not exist any more and any proceeds would go directly to our high school race car project. If you need directions, give me a call (209) 722-8582.

Thank you to Corky for making your facility available for our use. We were able to get done in thirty minutes what would have taken me much longer.

Thanks again, Corky for your offer to help with corner balancing for the bargain price of $25. Yep it took only 30 min. or less to corner weight each car.
I wish I could have brought my car. Maybe next time.

Thanks Corky!
I was all prepped to get dirty, and forgot that we had the lift :( :D. Amazing how "much" tire pressure affects the balance. I'll be back sometime before April 18th after my alignment to fine tune it for BW.

Is it correct that the sway bars need to be disconnected first, and then re-connected by the usage of adjustable endlinks?

the bar should be disconnected when adjusting height, and the car should be weighed with it disconnected. then it should be weighed with it connected, and checked if there is a major discrepancy between values. as the bar transfers weight laterally, you will be transferring load to/from the opposing tire, drivers side or passenger side, respectfully. using adjustable endlinks is just a way to adjust preload out of the bar, although ppl use them to keep a bar from hitting the exhaust so i've been told :p. i hope these are all correct statements and someone corrects me if not!

All true, although I've never heard the bit about the exhaust.
Kurt, also remember that there is sometimes play in the swaybar mount points (oval holes). My car had a good 1/2" up and down at each end. We disconnected the end links, weighed and adjusted, then loosened the mounts, attached end links and tightened everything. Adjustable end links would be the best I think.
